Abigail Marie Heckman "Abadoodle" went to her Heavenly Home November 10, 2025, from an automobile accident. Loving daughter, sister, niece, grandchild, and best friend to many, many people. She truly was loved by her family and by anyone that became her friend. She had such an infectious smile and an even more infectious laughter and her quirky personality. To meet her and gain her friendship, she would cherish that forever. She would do anything for you if you were her people, she had a lot of them people in her life.
She was an amazing young lady that had so much potential and talent: Painting automobile parts, playing guitar and other instruments (all self-taught), drawing characters and cars. She worked as a CNA and loved it! She also loved her animals, her pets. The only animals she didn't like were spiders and crunchy bugs.
She leaves behind her parents Anthony Heckman and Melinda Westphal; sister Elizabeth Heckman; half-brother Brandon Heckman; grandmother Julia Heckman; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, co-workers. She was truly loved by so many people. She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Robert and Lola Westphal; paternal grandfather John Heckman; half-brother Matthew J. Heckman.
A memorial service will be held 1 pm, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Dakota United Methodist Church, 120 N. Church St., Dakota, IL. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 6204 Forest Hills Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111. www.statelinecremations.com.
