Aaron Mark Roush, 50, of Durand, IL, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, following an unexpected illness. He was the cherished son of Mark and Mary Roush of Durand.
A fun-loving soul with a sentimental heart, Aaron spent most of his life in Durand, returning to his childhood home where he took pride in living in the town's oldest house. Aaron was a union carpenter and tradesman throughout his life.
Aaron's warmth and humor were at the heart of who he was, always striving to bring joy to those around him. He found delight in trivia nights and was a fan of watching Jeopardy, where his wealth of knowledge often shone through. An artist at heart, he combined all his interests into creative works that reflected his personal style and vision.
Aaron is survived by his parents, Mark and Mary, his brother Jacob, and sister-in-law Julie. He also leaves behind his niece Anika, nephew Bryson, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His beloved pets, Iggy and Kitty, will miss him dearly.
